Recommended for uses including TV dramas, documentaries, and sports and event shooting, the NEX-FS700U is designed for high-speed shooting and captures footage at up to 960 frames per second.

The 4K resolution—roughly four times that of HD—will be a big focus for Sony this week at NAB, where it will feature products including its F65 4K digital cinematography camera with an 8K sensor that entered the market in January for $65,000.

Slated for June availability, the NEX-FS700U supports full HD quality at 120 and 240 frames per second in a 16 or 8 second burst mode respectively. Its 480 fps and 960 fps at reduced resolution are available.
